The Dancing Ribbon

The Dancing Ribbon is an attempt to investigate soft walls. A tensile structure is inserted in the Great Hall, a graded II building in London. Cancer patients are welcomed in this space to share their stories, get emotional support and listen to music. A tensile structure made of Spandex and metal is used to create the space. Fabric is chosen for its acoustic properties. The space allows for therapeutical and emotional support through counselling and music therapy.

The Dancing Ribbon takes place in the Great Hall, next to St Bartholomy hospital, london. It is proposed to become a Maggies center for Cancer support
